MINISTRIES

Biblical Marriage & Family Counseling

We believe God wants to build strong families for the edification of the church. We believe God has laid out in His Word a specific framework for the home. Worship of God begins in the home.

And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. - Deuteronomy 6:6,7

Teaching & Discipleship

Our pastor is committed to teaching verse by verse the whole Word of God in accordance with II Timothy 3:16,17 which says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God my be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

It is our desire to see every follower of Christ thoroughly equipped with God's Word which will help them in every aspect of their lives. Discipleship occurs through one-on-one mentoring as well as in small group studies and Bible study classes.

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. - Titus 3:8

If you want to know more about what we teach please see our What We Believe page.

Let Go: Addiction & Recovery

Perhaps you are familiar with the classic 12-Step program of AA and other groups. While many lives have been helped through the 12 Steps, the programs have been vague about where the real power for change lies which is through Jesus Christ and the power of His Word.

If you are looking for a 12 step program not just dealing with addiction but also anger, grief or any other personal issue that is holding you back, then we want to invite you to “Let Go.”.

Let Go Ministry is a biblical program that can help you become free from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. By working through the recovery principles found in Jesus’ teachings you can have hope for change. You will begin to experience the true peace and serenity you have been seeking, and you will no longer have to rely on your dysfunctional, compulsive, and addictive behaviors as a temporary fix for your pain.

This is open to the public and meets at Living Faith Baptist Church on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:00 pm.
